Le Gabion: heritage restoration training

Le Gabion was set up in 1993 to help preserve architectural heritage and expertise, develop eco-building and encourage research and experimentation for building projects with a strong ecological focus.

Le Gabion opened its training centre in the Écomusée d’Alsace in 2022, with a programme featuring vocational training for 10 trainees in professional eco-building.

In 2024, Le Gabion is strengthening its partnership with the museum and opening a training session for professional heritage restoration workers.

This is a comprehensive course that will enable participants to work on old buildings and renovate them according to the rules of the trade.
