Experience Christmas traditions in Alsace

The Écomusée d'Alsace is offering a range of events dedicated to the theme of Christmas in Alsace: guided tours, hands-on workshops, tasting of traditional recipes, storytelling and carols.

• Guided tour: Christmas in the village - 10.30 am, 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm
• The art of getting around in winter - 11.30am and 4.30pm
• The art of keeping warm - 10.30am, 1.30pm and 5pm
• Advent and Early Year windows - 11am, 2pm and 4.30pm.
• Creative workshops : Christmas angels and greetings cards - Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays and every day during the school holidays - 1pm to 5.30pm
• School at Christmas time - Except Thursdays. Timetable displayed on site
• Cooking: Christmas flavours - 10.30am to 5.30pm - Mid-day break
• Storytelling and Christmas - Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays and every day during the school holidays - 2.30pm, 3.30pm and 4.30pm
• Stammtisch in Alsatian - Sundays, 1, 8, 15 and 22 December - 2pm
• Advent evenings - Wednesdays 4, 11 and 18 December - 2.30pm and 4.00pm
• Christmas carols to the sound of the accordion - 12, 15, 19 and 22 December - 2pm and 3.30pm
• Traditional Christmas carols - 14, 15, 21, 22, 26, 27, 28 and 29 December - 2.30pm and 3.30pm
